Welcome to RadioComApp. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our SMS verification services. By providing your phone number and requesting a verification code, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Service Description

RadioComApp provides a one-time verification code (OTP) service via SMS to verify ownership of a mobile phone number. The service is strictly transactional and is triggered only by your direct in-app actions. SMS messages are sent in the following scenarios:

  • Enabling the SOS safety feature. When you turn on the SOS feature for the first time inside the RadioCom mobile app, your number must be verified before the feature can be activated.
  • Manual phone verification from Settings. When you tap Settings > Phone Verification in the app and request a verification code.
  • Re-verification. When you change your phone number or request a new verification code from the app.

No marketing, promotional, or advertising messages will be sent through this service. Verification SMS is the only category of SMS we send to you.

2. Eligibility

To use our SMS verification service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions)
  • Own or have authorized access to the mobile phone number you provide
  • Have active SMS service with your mobile carrier
3. Consent to Receive Messages (Opt-In Flow)

Consent is collected exclusively inside the RadioCom mobile app at the moment you initiate phone verification. The opt-in flow is as follows:

  1. You install and register on the RadioCom mobile app (iOS or Android).
  2. You navigate to either SOS feature setup or Settings > Phone Verification.
  3. You enter your own mobile number in the in-app form.
  4. The screen displays a clear consent disclosure: "We will send a one-time verification code via SMS. Message and data rates may apply."
  5. You tap "Send Code". This action is your consent to receive a single verification SMS.
  6. You receive the verification SMS, enter the code in the app, and complete verification.

By tapping "Send Code":

  • You explicitly consent to receive a transactional verification SMS from RadioComApp.
  • You acknowledge that message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
  • You confirm that you are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

Important: Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from RadioComApp. It is collected solely for account security and to enable the SOS feature.

4. Sample Message and Frequency

Sample verification SMS:

  • "Your RadioCom verification code is: 123456"

Message frequency:

  • You will receive approximately 1 SMS per verification request.
  • Frequency varies based on how often you:
    • Enable the SOS safety feature
    • Manually request verification from Settings > Phone Verification
    • Update or change your phone number
  • We do not send recurring, scheduled, marketing, or promotional messages. Every SMS is triggered by your direct in-app action.
5. Opt-Out (STOP) Instructions

You may withdraw your consent at any time:

  • To stop all SMS messages: Reply STOP to any message you receive from RadioComApp
  • Confirmation: You will receive one final confirmation message: "You have been unsubscribed from RadioComApp verification messages. You will no longer receive SMS codes. Reactivate via app settings."
  • Effect of Opt-Out: You will no longer receive verification codes via SMS. You must use alternative verification methods (email, authenticator app) if available.

To re-opt in: You must manually enable SMS verification in your RadioComApp account settings or contact support at info@radiocomapp.com.

7. Supported Mobile Carriers

Our SMS service is delivered through Twilio, Inc. Supported carriers include (but are not limited to):

  • AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint
  • US Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, Boost Mobile

Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

8. Message Delivery

Message delivery details:

  • Messages are typically delivered within 5-30 seconds of request
  • Delivery is subject to:
    • Your mobile carrier's network coverage
    • Your device's SMS receiving capabilities
    • Do Not Disturb settings on your device
  • RadioComApp is not responsible for undelivered messages due to carrier issues
9. Code Expiration and Security

Security measures and responsibilities:

  • Verification codes expire 5-10 minutes after being sent
  • You agree to:
    • Keep verification codes confidential
    • Not share codes with anyone
    • Immediately report suspected unauthorized access to info@radiocomapp.com
  • RadioComApp is not liable for unauthorized access resulting from code sharing
10. Fees and Charges

Payment and billing information:

  • RadioComApp does not charge you for SMS verification messages
  • Your mobile carrier may charge standard message and data rates
  • Check with your carrier for details on international or premium SMS charges
  • You are responsible for all carrier-imposed fees
11. Privacy

Our collection and use of your phone number is governed by our Privacy Policy.

  • No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent data are excluded from any data sharing with third parties.
  • We only use your number to deliver the verification SMS and to enable safety features tied to your account (e.g., SOS).
  • You can request deletion of your data by emailing info@radiocomapp.com.
12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • RadioComApp is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability for any claim related to SMS services is limited to $100 USD
  • We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by carriers or force majeure
13. Modifications to These Terms

Policy updates and notifications:

  • We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time
  • Changes become effective when posted to this page
  • Material changes will be notified via:
    • Email to registered users (if available)
    • Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
  • Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms
14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate SMS services if:

  • You violate these Terms & Conditions
  • You opt out (reply STOP)
  • Required by law or carrier compliance
15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
